COURSE DATE: SUNDAY MAY 28 10am - 2pm
Our knife defence course is a comprehensive training program designed to teach individuals how to effectively defend themselves against knife attacks. The course is designed for people of all skill levels, from beginners with no prior self-defence experience to advanced martial artists.
The course covers a range of techniques, including how to detect an attacker carrying a knife , how to avoid getting stabbed, and escaping. Coach Peter Sciarra uses his extensive experience in martial arts and self-defence to teach these techniques in a way that is both practical and effective.
The course also includes drills and exercises to help students develop the muscle memory and reflexes needed to react quickly and effectively in a high-stress situation. Students will practice their skills against training knives and simulated attacks, allowing them to build confidence in their abilities and prepare for real-world scenarios.
Throughout the course, we emphasizes the importance of situational awareness and teaches students how to recognize and avoid potentially dangerous situations, and how to use the body's natural reflexes to defend oneself.
One of the unique aspects of our knife defence course is the focus on understanding the mindset of a potential attacker. By understanding how attackers think and behave, students can better anticipate and respond to a knife attack, increasing their chances of successfully defending themselves.
